  92. Going back to the site I saw a little info-graphic that said that the 'Cover, basket and vanes can be removed and are all dishwasher-safe'. I can't get over how cool that is. Probably I am repeating myself, but the main problem with all fryers is how to clean them. Add to that the fact that you can cook crispy fried stuff with just a tablespoon of oil and I would say that you have a really cool machine.

I made a note of this: the Actifry has a closed cooking vessel that provides a safe splatter-free cooking with an exterior that is cool to the touch.

That's the other bad thing about regular friers (besides the massive amounts of oil that they use) is how blazing hot and how messy they are. I'm infatuated with this device!

  132. Another day of Actifry research an I noticed this; the Actifry has Audible Countdown Timer. They said that The ActiFry features a timer, which can be set for up to 99 minutes giving these instructions:
'Simply place the ingredients in the non-stick pan, close the lid,
set the timer and switch your ActiFry on.'

I am imagining this and liking it. I put the food in to cook to a crisp fried texture without a gallon of grease (check!) and I set the timer and walk away! Awesome.

Yet another gross thing about conventional friers is having to hover near the machine in mortal terror of combustion while clouds of greasy vapor insinuate themselves into your hair, ick! Not it would seem with the Actifry, yeah!
